Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Altiscope collects when you use the free audit at altiscope.net, how we use it, and the choices you have. Altiscope is a product of Top Branding Altimeter, W8047 WI-33, Portage, WI 53901, USA (“we”, “us”).
Information you give us
When you request an audit, you give us:
- your business name, business type, and city or business address;
- your website address, if you have one;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to give it; and
- whether you agreed to receive text messages.
We save these details as soon as you press the first button on the form, so we can send your report and follow up even if you don’t finish every step.
Information we collect automatically
- How you reached us: the advertising or campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example, utm tags from a Meta ad), or the website that sent you.
- Progress through the form: which step you reached, when, and how many verification codes were sent or entered incorrectly. We use this to improve the tool and to stop spam.
- Cookies and similar tools: our website uses the Meta Pixel to measure how our ads perform. Meta may use cookies to collect information about your visit. You can control this in your browser settings and in your Meta ad preferences.
Information we look up about your business
To build your report, we use public information about your business and nearby businesses from Google Maps, Google PageSpeed Insights, and your public website. We send a screenshot of your homepage and your logo to our AI provider, Anthropic, to review how your site looks on a phone. We keep Google’s place IDs and our own scores. Business names, ratings and review counts that come from Google are removed from our records after 30 days.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- prepare your audit and show it on screen;
- email you a verification code, your report, and a reminder if you didn’t finish;
- follow up with you about your report and about services from Top Branding Altimeter that could help with the issues it found;
- send text messages, but only if you ticked the box agreeing to them; and
- protect the tool from spam and abuse, and improve it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Altiscope, and only for that purpose:
- Google (Google Sheets and Gmail to store records and send email; Google Maps and PageSpeed Insights to build the report);
- Anthropic (AI review of your website’s look);
- Meta (ad measurement through the Meta Pixel); and
- our website hosting provider.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
Your choices
- Emails: every follow-up email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops follow-up emails within 10 business days. We may still send emails you ask for, such as a new report.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them.
- Access, correction or deletion: email hello.altiscope@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will reply within 30 days.
How long we keep information
We keep your contact details and audit history while they are useful for following up with you, and delete them when you ask us to. Google-sourced business data is removed after 30 days, as described above.
Security
Your information is stored in our Google account, which only our team can access, and API keys are never shown on the website. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Altiscope is for business owners. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced on this page.
